The journal is divided into three main sections:

Description
The Back Story:
I had issues focusing, staying present, and always getting carried away by a never-ending list of goals and vision boards. I also like fine stationery, so I had a go at combining the “best bits” from all the goal-setting systems, habit tracking apps, and gratitude journals I’ve used over the years. the result is ‘The Captain’s Log’ journal.
The Result:
A finely crafted journal that will help you strike a balance between being productive and just being, so you can work at what’s important while not wishing your life away. Divided into three main sections – ‘The Compass” is about finding direction in life. “The Map” is your strategy for working in that direction and finally “The Log” is about doing the work, while also remembering to stay present and not wish your precious life away.

This is a really brilliant product. The design is top notch and very well thought out. Each day and week it helps me to stay focused and also do some self reflection. As a busy professional it has helped me a lot so far in 2018

WOW! As a bookseller and breathwork therapist I know quite some of the journals available in the world. This one is pretty amazing! Its such a beautiful piece of Art and Design, mindfully crafted, and full of consciousness and awareness. Lifting you up just by browsing the pages. Incredibly helpful to structure my monkey mind and reminding me on the aspects, I tend to overview and forget. Love it. Thank you so much Kieran Butler!

Really beautiful journal. Writing the daily gratitude section is my favourite part 🙂

Wow – I was so impressed when I opened this journal. I’m a HUGE “collector” of journals…we know how that goes, right? You get all the pretty ones with good intentions of using them and hopes and dreams of life changing effects, but, in reality, you use them for a couple of weeks and then they turn into giant paper weights…right?! NOT THIS ONE! I absolutely love the layout. It doesn’t overwhelm you with dates and times and making you feel like you NEED to fill up all of the seconds of the day. It allows you to focus on the things that matter – and in baby bits. It encourages the “good-for-you” things like gratitude and meditation – which will improve all aspects of your life! And it allows space for reflection. And not only does it lay it out beautifully, but it sets you up for success. The first part of the journal is a personal development book on its own! It helps you with UNDERSTANDING why you need to set goals, create good habits and the importance of TRACKING them! If you’re looking for a journal that will truly help you change your life, BUY THIS JOURNAL…and USE IT! 🙂

As a mindful wanderer on life’s journey, I like to plan for the short-term as well as keeping an eye on the Final Destination. This journal is ideal for me. I plan the week on Sundays and review the day each evening. The Captain’s Log is my favourite such journal and I have used quite a few along the way. I now recommend it to my patients, high praise indeed because I don’t recommend too many such tools.

Outstanding Journal! So simply but so helpful! Used daily and it genuinally helps me achieve goals I have been setting! A must for all ages in my opinion….so many different perceptions on how to set your course and change basic habits to insure you active goals that improve your outlook and help you appreciate smaller things! Great work Kieran Butler!
