It’s a poem that describes an experience of connecting with pure presence through meditation.
Like a faucet
You tapped my soul
And it poured and poured
From the bottomless well
Why did I block
The flow?
I was afraid
of what they’d say
— Of what I’d say
I was afraid I’d take your gifts
And treat them like my own
Get lost in Ignorance
And forget my soul
Alas, The tap was turned
The ego was burned
By the flame of your Presence
If only for a moment
